NEXT RIDEOUT
April 28th The Meridian Ride!
One Hundred Years of Warr's and the first ride in our 20th anniversary year revisiting the very first Meridian Ride.
We start from our original home at the Royal Observatory at Greenwich that no other dealership sponsored chapter can claim as theirs and with spectacular panoramic views of iconic locations of London too.
We will ride a variety of roads that the creators of the Prime Meridian in 1851 would not have expected to run the length of the line. And 140 years ago (1884) the Line became the world's standard measurement of time. Some might say its Synchronicity that we should now ride our timeless machines along the line is something to be remembered(*).
We will have a comfort stop on the Meridian Line marked by a series of terracotta marker stones as it passes through a line of trees, an Iron Stone rock installation and a plaque. Unfortunately, no refreshments to be had so bring your own, but there are toilets.
Then for the second half of our historic journey we'll ride roads through the countryside that twist and turn that bike riders love so much until we reach the the prime Meridian monument as the Prime Meridian Line departs the UK shores for Europe and the globe! From here we'll journey a few miles west to our termination point overlooking the Brighton Marina.
(*)We will be giving out a raffle ticket to all riders who attend with an opportunity to win one of a VERY limited
number of 20 year Meridian Chapter pins that will not be available after this ride or for sale in store.
The briefing will commence promptly at 09:30 hrs GMT to ride off at 10:00 hrs sharp.
Remember to bring some refreshments and have a full tank of fuel, only those with minimalist tanks will be catered for en route.
Ride Leader Bernie Cresswell and rear man (the one and only, the original Meridian Man!) Dave Mann.

Our approach is to introduce you to Black Horse Financial Services , who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. Before we propose your application, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
